The Chinese Transplant Games started in 2004, it has been held for six times.

Chen Tianyou, five, the youngest child to have a heart transplant in Asia, poses for photos with his mother after giving flowers to the families of people who had donated to others at the seventh Chinese Transplant Games in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, on Sunday. The boy underwent heart transplant surgery in December 2014 when he was three months old. He received the heart of a 4-year-old boy who had died of toxic gas inhalation. The games started in 2004.
